Should warning labels be put on sugary drinks? Some say yes and some say no. I say that a warning label should be put on sugary drinks.
Sugary drinks are addictive. People will keep drinking sugary drinks. The article states that some reseach shows that sugar is even more addictive than cocaine.
The article states that drinking sugary drinks can cause:Headache,Gas,Mood Swings,Tiredness,Obesity,Heart attack, and Diabetes. Drinking one 12-ounce can of soda can increce the risk of heart attack by 30%.
Sugary drinks are the biggest added source of sugar in young Americans diets.Kids have access to way to much soda and sugar. The article says that a single 12-ounce can of soda contains a whopping 8 teaspoons of sugar.
How many lives might warning labels on sugary drinks save?

Do labels need to be put on drinks?yes! I thank they should be put on drinks. You never know someone you know or even in your family may have heart attack ofr even diabetes.Which can come to bad problems.
Fruit has alot of suger. Fruit juice has a lot of suger what's the difference?fruit has fiber that allows sugar to be adsorbed slowly.Juice is like a suger shot right to your guts.
If you drink one or two a day would be ok.but if you drink a lot of drinks it can come to headaches, gas, moodswings, tiredness, obesity, heart attacks,or diabetes.
Everthang has labels on them.becuse if you dont read them and drink to many they can rot your teeth.or turn your liver into a lump of scar tissue.American eat over 77 pounds of suger of year.

Have you ever wondered what's in your drink? Well that's what nutrition facts are for!
I vote no, we should not make label warnings on sodas it is not going to help anything. The article states people are still going to be drinking these: Cokes, Mountain Dews, and Sprites.Just imagine waking up and going to the store, to see that have put warning labels on your favorite drinks. What are they going to do now put warning labels on everything, make taxes on sodas? The number one reason why people buy sodas is that they are very cheap.
The article"Your Favorite Drinks Can Wreck Your Body"states there is no guarantee that warning labels will even work. When someone says cigarettes I think of warning labels. People that just slap the warning labels down on the cigarette packs do not even think about the possible outcomes. Some people just still smoke the E-Cigarettes, cigars, and cigarettes. You know these people do not even care about the warning labels they just want to see what you will do next soda taxes maybe, are you going to ban sodas what is your next move, goverment?
The author states that money on warning lables are absurd. They cost money and time. Some people do not even have the time to put absurd warning labels on sodas.
Maybe we should just go ahead make labels on everything and call it Labelville. No I am serious just go ahead and put warning labels on everything! Everything has sugar in it except for water.

No, why should they put labels on cola they should know people do not read labels.
If people start putting warning labels on sugary drink then what will they put warning labels on next. As it said in the article if we start putting warning labels on our drinks, what will we put warning labels on next?
If people would make better solutions they can go on with life. In the article it said, If lawmakers are so convinced that they have to stop us from drinking sweet beverages, then why not try something that could actually work: a soda tax.
In the article it said, Do not get me wrong. Sweet drinks are a problem. More specifically ,obesity is a problem-a very serious problem-in the United States.

Have you heard of a more rediculous idea for a soda can, well keep reading to find out what it is.Ok,people are thinking about putting warning lables on cans of sugery drinks.I mean sure they can be bad for you,but is it like anyone will pay atteion to these lables? So,no they should not put lables on soda cans.
As the article states soda is not the only cause of obesity.not even by a long shot.Inactivity and overeating can both contribute to obesity."Acuttly only 4 present of calories in the average American diet are derived directly from soda."Second of all,if we start putting warning lables on our drinks, what will we put lables on next?Suger is in everything.Should put warning lables on every box of cereal, every jar of tomato sauce, every package of bread?
Also as the article states "How about apples? One apple cotains 21 grams of sugar-more than half the sugar in a can of soda.So now we know that soda is not exatly the killer suger is in everything.
If lawmarkers are so convinced about soda why don't they put a soda tax? That might just work for that reason. If will work with cigarettes it will work with soda then. And if we do put a soda and keep the cigarette tax it will help out with money to help fight obesity.
Prety much California is wasteing money on theses lables.Thier taking away one of the most favorite drinks of the americas time.In California the cities Board Of Health passed a law for soda, but it was overturned in court.

According to the article, if we start putting warning labels on our drink, what will we put labels on next? Sugar is in everything . Would we put labels on every box of cereal, every jar of tomato sauce, every package of bread?
There is no guarantee that warning labels will even work. Psychological studies have shown for instance, that for cigarette smokers, warning labels that tell them they are going to die might tempt them to smoke more. The fact is that people who love soda are going to keep drinking soda states the article.
Besides, there is already a warning label on every sugary drink- and on pretty much every food and beverage product sold in the U.S., actually. It is called "Nutrition Facts," and it includes everything anyone could possibly want to know about what is in the thing they are about to eat or drink said in the article.
This is my reason for saying no, I do not think we should put warning labels on every can drink. In my opinon I think this is not a smart idea.Rememer sugar is in everythingAccording to the article, if we start putting warning labels on our drink, what will we put labels on next? Sugar is in everything . Would we put labels on every box of cereal, every jar of tomato sauce, every package of bread?

Are People Crazy
I think no, because we did not in the past so why start now?
The artical said ,"What else are we going to put lables on bread, egg cartons, cereal,Tomato sauce?" Who knows what they will do next? How about an apples? One apple contains about 21 grams of suger--more than half the suger in a can of soda. Are they going to put suger labels on apples to?
What if warning labels can not work? Some people just avoid the warning labels then where would we be?All that work for nothing. The artical states that some people avoid things like this.Teens know what comes with smoking but they still do it dont they?So what about soda do you think they are going to listen to warning labels?
The artical also states that sweet drinks are a problem.Do not get me wrong sweet drinks are a problem.More specifically, obesity is a problem also. Some 17 percent of kids and a third of adults are obese, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And obesity is a leading cause of diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
The text states that obesity is from suger and and sweet stuff. So as you can see obesity is not just from soda it is also from junk food.I said no because if we did put warning labels on soda cans what good would it do people would just avoid it.So my question is do you think we should put warning labels on soda cans?

How would you react if someone put warning labels on our precious drink called soda? Here is why I think they should not. Plus I think that it would be mean to put warning labels on soda because people love soda and not warning labels.
For my first example , Sugar tastes good. The text even said that it is as addictive as cocaine. Yeah, it is just that good, would you love sugar if it wasn't so sweet? That is why sugar is so addictive it is sweet.
The article also says that sugar is in everything. For example apples have 21 grams of sugar in them which is half of the 42 grams of sugar in a 12 ounce soda. So what are they going to do put warning labels on every food product they come across. Personally i do not think they should.
The article also states that we already have nutrition facts. So if we already have nutrition facts why would we need warning labels. It is like putting something on bubble gum that say warning you can get choked by this product, when it already says be careful while chewing this product.
That is what I think supports my thinking. Also I still think that they should not put warning labels on our precious drinks that they call soda. Let us enjoy our sugary drinks in peace!

Will warning labels even work? No, I do not think it putting warning labels on soda will even work. I think they probaly will not work. They will just ignore the warning labels on them.
Sodas don't always cause obesity. In the article, it can be caused by inactivity or overeating. It can be caused also by eating a lot of junk food like debbies or potato chips. If you do not excercise you can gain weight more and you do not want to move around when you gain weight.
It may not work. In the article it states "Should beverage companies really be punished with obnoxious warning labels?" They would just ignore them. They probaly will ignore them because most people now do not care about the world and everybody else.
They would be obnoxious and it would be stupid to do that.In the article, it states that people who love soda are going to keep drinking soda. They will not even care. They do not even care about the world and everybody else.
Will it even work? I have gave you something to think about. So will you stop drinking or not?

Do you believe that they should put warning labels on soda cans .I disagree that you should put warning labels on soda cans because pepole are going to drink them anyways no matter how much sugar is in them .I disagree that there should be warning labels on soda cans because they are already on there and people drink them anyway.
This article states Sugar Kills Sodas can cause damage to the body like obesity and a risk for heart diease and also diabetes. There is also an enormous amount of sugar that is how it can cause damage to the body.
The Article staes The More You Eat A single 12 ounce can of soda contains a whooping 8 teaspoons !While consuming a lot sugar in any form is bad for you .But in case we need more evidence there is also this: Anti-smoking measures , including warning labels , are esimated to have saved about 8 millon American lives since 1964.That is 8 millon pepole who did not die because they heeded warnings that smoking would kill them . In the article sugary drinks which that is a terrible idea that will not slove any problems . Yet that is exactly what lawmakers in Californa are proposing.
The Article Warning labels on sugary drinks I like them but they also hurt your body but pepole still drink because they are so addictive .And it will cause a lot of damage could happen but like I said they are so addctive.

T: Yes, becuse some people do not care about labels on can of soda and some people do care. People do not really know whats in can and bottel of soda. What do you think in soda?
ID1: People think that soda is good for you but it isnot soda have lots of sugar and it will give people sugar rush. People may like soda but they need to read the labeles cans or bottle of soda. One reason is that about 40 years ago,a bunch of scientists and government officials began telling Americans that the fat in our food was making us fat. So we are startng eating more low-fat foods.
ID2: A single 12-ounce can of soda contains a whopping 8 teaspoons! While consuming a lot of sugar in any form is bad, drinking a lot of sugar is particularly terrible. When you chug down a bottle of soda, you send a truckload of fructose straight to your liver. The same thing happens to alcoholics after years of drinking. But the American Heart Association puts it somewhere between four and nine teaspoons for the entire day. Is not it unfair to single out sugary drinks like soda when sugar.
ID3: Lets hope it does ---and that other states follow California is lead. Why? Because you deserve to know you are about to put something in your body that can make you sick --- or worse. Dr.Robert Lusytig , a pediatrician and expert on how sugar affects the human body, calls the stuff poison. Today, the average American eats more than 22 teaspoons of sugar a day. That is 77 pounds per year --- a mind- boggling amount.
E: Humans have been in love with sugar for centuries, but consuming it in crazy amounts. In the 1800s,the average Americans consumed about 6 teaspoon of per day. While consuming a lot of sugar in any form is bad, drinking a lot of sugar is partiularly terrible.

Yes,I think you should put warning label
Inmagine you are ready for work but you want a coke and you do not no it increses heart attack you drink one and have heart attack and is late for work. And no one told him what happend, so he fired you and you have to pay a big bill with no job and your poor and need a loan. That could happen or headache and lot of gas, and have a date with some one and may have to go to the bathroombecause of gas from the coke
As the article states "Sugar Kill's"it sayes you only need a little sugar but soda contan a toan of sugar kid just dont no ween to stop actruly not just kid adult too they drink it and some people jug the hole two leader that could kill you.
What is the right chose coke or your life sugar can take your life and could give you headake and cuold get dibetes and they could mees you up and all that but sugar can give you cavitites and the dintes want like that they may give you a drile and as the artikle state "Warning Labels Work " the fact of nowing that it works they may stop drinking coke but water and milk is beater but if you do not blevie me try it.
Sugar is a bad thing is the sugar and it is to much it making us and you gane pounds but if can not blevie me blevie in the label.

NO, I DO NOT THANK THEY SHOULD PUT LABELS ON SODA CANS BECAUES WILL IT WORKOR NOT !!!!! The article states there no guarantee that warning labels will even work. And the Psychological studies have shown for instance ,that for cigarette smokers, warning labels that tell them they're going to die might tempt them to smoke more. The article states second of all , if we start putting warning labels on drinks, what will we put warning labels on next ? Sugar is in everything.
It may not work. If we put labels on our soda becaues some times it does not caues obesity. The article states some 17 percent of kids and third of adults are obese, according to the centers for disease control and prevention. And obesity is a leading cause of diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
As a nation ,we must take steps to better protect our health. But bombarding soda drinkers with warning labeis won't help. First of all, soda is not the only cause of obesity. Not even close. Inactivity and overeating can both contribute to obesty. And as a representative for CaiBev, California's branch of the American Beverage Association, points out, ''Only 4 percent of calories in the average American diet are derived directly from soda.'' In a 2009 article in the new england journal of medicine, professors Kelly Brownell and Thomas Frieden found that texing soda just one penny per ounce 10 percent.

No, I do not think you should put warning labels on soda cans. Why would we need warning labels on soda cans anyway? Why put warning labels on cans of soda if people would just drink them anyway?
In the article, some people that drinking sodas are the only cause in obesity. Sugar is in everything which means that sodas are not the only cause in obesity and heart problems. There many other food and drinks that could cause the same problems.
Sugar is in everything. Should we start putting labels on everything? If we have too many labels it would defeat the purpose. People would probably just drink them anyway. Even when the labels are on the cans of soda. Some of the people buying the soda would not listen to the labels, and drink them anyway.
The article states that there is already a warning label on every can of soda already. The label is called the Nutrition Facts. The Nutrition Facts have everything the consumer would need to know about thier food or drink. There is also already another warning on the front of every can or bottle of coca-cola.
In conclusion, we should not put warning labels on soda cans. It is not the only cause in obesity and heart problems. There is also a type of warning label on the can or bottle already. It is called the Nutrition Facts. Some people would not listen to the label, and drink them anyway.

Just think what it would be like with out are beverages.I think we not put a warning lable on drinks.
It want solve a think and all it would do is stop you from going from it. People will sill drink. It look at ciggerets all the warning lables do is make them do it more peple have the nature to be bad.It states in the article that ever thang.
In the article sald that we shold put taxs on dranks, and I a grande with them we shod put it on dranks.
And if you do not thing thats the problem will look at this. If people would leaned to stop eating we want be fat, and thats not being men it stats that in the article.
If this is not a enough just look online your see what I mean. Just look you will find what I mean.

It is annoying that people are trying to put warning labels on...sodas. I do not think soda drinking should go unregulated, but I do not think warning labels are the right fix. For that reason, I think no.
The article states that charging just one penny more per ounce could lower soda drinking by 10%. It would work better. They should try soda tax instead, because of what I will state in the next two paragraphs.
In the article, the author states that warning labels on other things just tempted some people more. Are these people nuts? They are making it worse! Plus, the more labels there are, the less effect each one will have.
According to the article, taxes on other dangerous things like cigarettes have been effective. They should try it on sodas. If one penny per ounce could lower soda drinking by 10%, that means only five cents per ounce could cut soda drinking in half! Step aside, warning labels.
I think no is the answer. Soda taxes would work so much better. I think warning labels should not be used.

Imagine, your 40 years old, and you're living in your parents basement. You have no job and you and your nerd buddies stay in the basement all day playing Guitar Hero. All because your parents helped you on your homework assignments. So, no, I think that children should not get help from their parents on their homework. When children get help they do not really learn it. The article states that all the helping parents are doing, are actually hurting.
When children get help from their parents it teaches them that they can depend on them with all their problems. Your parents are not going to be able to help your with your test at school, so why get the kids thinking that you can? According to the article, children that get help from their parents tend to get lower results on tests.
As the author states, if your parents help you with everything you will never really understand the material and you will score lower on test. You will never get an education. You need education to get a job, and with no job or education, you will be on your parents couch for the rest of your life.
Welcome to reality.. A lot of kids do extracurricular activities like softball, volleyball, bookclub, football, or cheer, but like it says in the article, learning to balance school work and extracurricular activities is just part of growing up. You might have a lot on your plate, but that is no excuse for you not to do your homework.
In conclusion, I think that parents should not help their children should not get help from their parents with their homework. It teaches the kids that their parents will be able to help them with everything. It will seem like help then, but later, you'll regret it.
