So your standing in the vikings stadium and this guy walks up with a giant viking head on, do you think he has gone to far supporting his team. Do you think that sports fans go to overboard with their displays. Personally I do not think they do. Let them have the right to be themselves and not be judged by the way they dress to go to a sports game.
The text says that plenty of us dress up for our favorite sports teams. Just look at people the next time you go to or watch a sports event. It is their way of expressing their feelings for their favorite team.
The article says that we can be taking stuff a little to serious. It can also be angrying when your favorite sports team loses to another team. I mean you might not like it because you are convinced that your team is the best.It might take a while to get over it.
Plus the text says that sports kind of feel like a life or death thing. They can also think that that is them playing on the field in the actual game. People think that they will die of humilatiation if their team loses.
That is what I think supports my thinking. Other people might think otherwise but I think that sports fans dont go to far. Just let us be who we are and go worry about something else.

It is okay to cry when your favorite sports team loses. You were looking forward to them winning. But, even when they do loose, why riot? Yes, I do think that sports fans take it too far.
In the section "Matter Of Life And Death" it states, that fans have been out-of-control since there has been sporting events. In the sixth century, fans of the chariot races in Constantinople were incensed when some of the racers were imprisoned. The fans burned the city and tried to overthrow the emperor; 30,000 people died. The problems occur when strong feelings linger hours or days after a game has ended and start to interfer with life. For example, some fans get depressed after a defeat that they skip school or work. There have even been suicides.
In the section "Sense Of Belonging" it says that being a big fan of a sports team can actually make you a better person. Research shows if you have a srtong connnection to a particular team, you are more likely to make strong connection with people. Even if devoted fans tend to be less lonely and have more enjoyable social lives, it is not good for the connection to be so strong that you feel like you need to miss school or work for just a lost game.
In the article it states that, having a strong attachment to a team can be good for you. Maybe it is natural to cry when your favorite sports team wins or loses. Especially if you have been supporting that team for a very long time. Just even when the team your supporting loses it is okay to cry, but do not riot and run down the streets hurling rocks and smashing storefronts.

Could you imagine a angry mob of people running through the streets hurting people over a sports game.Well that is what people did in Buenos Aires, Argentina. No, it is just a game people CALM DOWN.
In the Do Sports fans Go Too Far arcticle it says the violence had nothing to do with war or politics. It was not a protest against a terrible injustice. It was all about a soccer game.
Soccer fans in Buenos Aires, Argentina were so furious that their team had lost to germany in the 2014 World Cup final that they went on a rampage. What happened in Argentina is certainly an extreme example of fans going waaaaaay too far. But many of us can rekate to feeling super-passionate about a team.
Plenty of us dress up in elaborate costumes to show our support. we spend oodles of money on team apparel. During games, we scream and cheer and shout hysterically at out televisions. We worship our favorite athletes like gods and feel their wins and losses as if they were our own. When a referee makes a bad call, we feel deeply cheated. And yes, we have been known to weeplike babies over a missed basket or fumbled pass.
The article states it is all part of the fun of being a fan... or is it? No doubt about it: Sports are really, really, really important to billions of people. But might we all be taking sports jusut a little too seriously?
According to the article some pyschologists believe that it all goes back to a distant period in history when humans lived in tribes. These tribes fought each other for food, land, and power, and the battles were truly a matter of life and death. You rooted for your tribe warriors because they were fighting for everyone you knew and loved. Losing a battle could have meant the obliteration of your village.
The article states cheering for today's "warriors"- that is, athletes- can evoke the same life-or- death feelings. That is why in the excitement of a close game, winning may feel more important than it really is. That problems occur when strong feelings linger hours or days after a game has ended and start to interfere with life. For example, some fans get so depressed after a defeat that they skip work or school. There have even been suicides.
Yes, I understand that you want your team to win, but do not go nuts over it. It is just a game. I think you will be ok if your favorite team loses once or twice.

Sports Teams Debate
Imagine you are at a relatives funeral. He commited suicide, just because his favorite sports team lost. So, yes. I think that sports fans go way to far.
When most American's favorite sports teams loose, they get really upset. People squal like babies. According to the article, many people bet lots of money and buy merchandise and when they loose, they realize that they blew away their money.
People go crazy when their teams loose. Many people in other countries shoot people when they loose. The author says that people also have been known to commit suicide.
People dress up in crazy costumes and buy crazy sports apparel. As said in the article, we scream and shout at the television when our teams loose. We worship athelets like LeBron James like gods, and I dont think that is a good thing.
Going to far with sports teams is dangerous. People go crazy over 'their' teams. So, in conclusion, I think that sports fans do go way to far.

Do you believe sports fans get out of control sometimes? They do. I think yes, they sometimes they do get out of control and they love sports ,but you also do not want to get people in trouble and it causes to much damage.Yes, sometimes sports fans go to far. The Article States that more than 15 offricers were injured and more than 60 people were arrested . Sports Fans get out of control there were hurling rocks because sports fans got out of control. They do not care how many people get out of control. They do get out of control with the way that they dress. The Article States problems occur when strong feelings linger hours after the game has ended and people start to interfere with their lives. It make sense . Being a fan gives you a sense of belonging . You can be in a faraway place and still be a sports fan . But many of us can rely to feel super passoniate about a team plenty of people dress in wierd looking costumes for there sports fans to get out of control. But they can be sports fans but they also watch what they are doing .And I can totally understand about that you are excited being a sports fan . Being a sports fan is ok just do not get of contrtol with everything. And you do not always have to interfere with sports you need to interfere with life .And if you have family then you need to worry about them than sports. The article states that there has been out of control sports fans for as long as there has been sporting events. The article states on the other hand being a big fan can acutally make you a happier and healthier person. Research shows that if you have a strong connection to a particluar team , you are more likely to make strong connections with people . Sports fans do get out of control with there teams and how they dress. But they also only intefere with sports and not there family they are all the time talking about sports. And a lot of people get out of control with when they get people hurtb or alot of people get arrested.

Have you ever cried when you favorite football team lost? Or maybe celebrated when they had got the finale touchdown, and won the game?Well just wait until you hear what is happening, just because their football team lost.
The article states that the problem occurs when strong feelings linger hours or days after a game had ended and start to interfere with life. For example, some fans get so depressed after a defeat that they skip work or even school. There have even been suicides.
The article even states that we worship our favorite athletes like gods and feel their wins and losses as if they were our own. When a referee makes a bad call, we feel deeply cheated. And yes, we have been known to weep like babies over a missed basket or fumbled pass.
The article says that if they sometimes make you a little crazy, it is only because you love them so much. On the other hand, all that time, money, and energy could be spent doing something more useful and important, rather than on something that can turn violent and depressing. Because no matter how much you love the game, at the end of the day, it is just that:a game!
The article even says that it is ok for you to represent you favorite team in a basketball game, soccer game, or even football game. It is not ok for you to go on a rampage because of your team losing. I think sports fans are going to far.

Yes,Imagine if a sports game had just ended and your friend was walking down the street and then a riot came rushing down the street and your friend got attacked and did not do anything. I think it is ridculous that somebody would do that.I mean really it is not worth killing someone for.
Are sports fans out-of-control? Acording to the article,Soccer fans in Buenos Aires,Argentina, were so furious that their team had lost to Germany in the 2014 World Cup final that they went on a rampage. I think it was crazy that they did that. Some people even cry over their team losing.
What makes sports fans go nuts? The article states,That they think it goes back to a period in history when humans lived in tribes. These tribes fought each other for food, land, and power, and the battles were truly a matter of life and death.Losing a battle could have meant a obliteration of your village.
The sports fans feelings. They may feel excited or happy when their team wins. Acording to the article, feeling that way is not necessarily a bad thing. For example, some fans get so depressed after a defeat that they skip work or school.

Do sports fans go too far? I say yes. Sports fans are out of control.
The article says there been out-of-control fans for as long as there have sporting events. There have been roits, fights, and braws. People are taking sports too far.
944.3 million more people watched the 2014 Super Bowl than the first 2012 Presidential dedate. That is how sports stack up. Some fans get so depressed after a loss that they start skiping work or school.
We spend tons of money on sports and team apparel says the article. It is like we worship sports. Are favorite players are like gods.
Sports fans go too far. Sports fans are out of control. Some fans are crazy.

They are accusing sports fans of ... wait for it ... taking sports too seriously? Yes, I am correct. As crazy as it may sound, they are. That is why I picked "no". To me, it is the only sensible choice.
The article states in the first paragraph under "Sense of Belonging", fandom could mean being a happier and healthier person. You could also be more social, which means being less lonely. It could be very worth the losses.
In the article, it states: "How wonderful that sports give us the opportunity to find the good in failure." I agree with that. Failure is important, even though victory is more satisfying. I share the same feeling toward wins and losses. Losing can train your brain.
Oodles of money are spent on apparel every year. The article states that sports are important to millions of people. I am one of them. I get very emotional toward games. When the Denver Broncos lost to the St. Louis Rams, I turned the upstairs into a tornado scene. However, when Purdue knocked off ranked Iowa, I was happy for two days. I understand emotional reactions to sports. I have them often.
I picked no because I fully understand reactions. I love sports and they help and benefit me. They help my mind and get me active. Reactions just happen. We should not be criticized for them.

yes. They have kill people over it do you want to be kill over a game.No I dojnt want to die over a game.
As the articly state it says there was a valage and a lot of vialager got mad and burnd the vialage. and the king stop sport for a wile. But then it started agin whith more police.
Why would people go to a riot over a game?onece people were so bad that the cop had to throw tear gas andgun shot in the air and ever body stop and then started all over agin. mater of life or death and people since said they do it for a riot.
As the artikle says when some athet miss or reafe make a bad call some people laght cry wimper and be mad. Some people start riot over it and some kill over it.Why?
So do not kill ,cry, wimper, andeven get mad.So do not cry or and cop no more tear gas.So dont kill over the game.

Do sports fans go to far? noAre we taking sports a bit too seriously? This is a matter of life and death? Why do we misbehave?Read and youll find out.
According to the article there has been a lot of deadly things going on. People geting into fights people killing people. They need to stop there going out of control. why do thay do this.
The fans burned the city and tried to overtrow the emperor 31,000 people died. In england soccer hooliganism as it's called can be traced to the 14th centry when villagers were getting so violent during games that the king had to ban the sport which incidentally was then played by kicking not a ball but a inflated pigs bladder. And today fan brawls are so common that major cities around the U.S.have to put extra police officers on the streets after big game.
So what is makeing the fans so well nuts? Some psychologists believe that it all goes back to a distant period in history when humans lived in tribes. These tribes fought each other for food, land and power
My answer is no there to crazey they dress up to much it's not a fashion show. It's just a game there it's that simpel.I bet know could find something to say to say that this is ok the be misbehaveing. If you dont agree why they kill to.

In my opinion I think that some sport fans go way to far. Why would someone go so crazy over their team loosing? People have got killed, injured, and arrested from it.
It says in the article that angry mobs ran through the streets hurling rocks and smashing storefronts. Police in riot gear fired rubber bullets and shot tear gas into the crowd. Terrified parents clutched their children and ran for safety. Before we was restored, 15 officers were injured and at least 60 people were arrested. The strangest part? The violence had nothing to do with a war or politics. It wasn't a protest against a terrible injustice. It was all about- wait for it- a soccer game.

Whose all a crazy about something?
The artical states that it looked like a war zone. Angry mobs ran through the streets hurling rocks and smashing store fronts. Police in roit gear fired rubber bullets and shot tear gas into the crowd. Terrified parents clutched their children and ran for safety. Before order was restored, 15 officers were injured and at least 60 people were arrested. So i think yes, people can get crazy when they met a someone they are crazy about.
The text states that there has been out-of-control fans for as long as there has been sports events. In the sixth century, fans of the chariot races in Constantinople were incensed when some of the races were imprisoned. The fans burned the city and tried to overthrow the emperor;30,000 people died.
According to the article Adam Earnheardt, a professor at Youngstown State University in Ohio, it's the same kind of thrill you get on a roller coaster or during a scary movie. The problems occur when strong feelings linger hours or days after a game has ended and start to interfere with life. For example, some fans get so depressed after a defeat that they skip work or school. There have even been suicides.
It makes sense. Being a fan gives you a sense of belonging. You can be in a faraway place and feel an instant connection to someone just because he or she is wearing the hat of your favorite team. Going to games gives you a chance to bond with people from all walks of life whom you might not otherwise meet.
The text also states that people can go crazy when they see something or someone they admire. So that is why i picked yes fans can go to far sometimes. I was watching a foot ball game with my dad one night and one of the football players, and a fan jumped out of the crowd and jumped on one of the players. So do you think fans go to far or not?

Do sports fans go to far?
Yes, even though I love sports I think people go too far sometimes! I mean really, busting out in tears after the game all because you lost. Yes, it is terrrible, but you do not have to be a drama queen about it! You will have another chance to win.
The article states, "There have been out-of-control fans for as long as there have been sporting events." In the 14th century the king had to ban a sport because fans started getting so out-of-control! Fans just need to take a chill pill sometimes!
The article states, "Cheering for today's "warriors"---that is, athletes---can evoke the same life-or-death feelings. Thats why in the excitement of a close game, winning may feel more important than it really is. Feeling that way is not really necessarily a bad thing."
The article states,"On the other hand, being a big fan can actually make you a happier, healthier person. Research shows that if you have a strong connection to a particular team, you are more likely to make strong connections with other people. In fact, devoted fans tend to be less lonely and to have more enjoyible social lives."
On the other hand, all that time, money, and energy could be spent doing something more useful and important, rather than on something that can turn violent and depressing. So think before you are about to kill someone over something stupid. Because no matter how much love the game, at the end of the day, it is just that: a game.

T: Yes, Sport fans are crazy and sometime loud.
ID1: Some psychologists believe that it all goes so back to a distant period in history when humans lived in tribes. AAAAHHH! They LOST again so I am saying boo hoo. Why do people fight and argue over unesasary stuff like a soccer game. Whitch is why I think sports fans go to far.
Sports fans often riot and fight over foolish games like when the article states that people die and get arrested for what...a soccer game. Some say I am a major fan, but not that serios. NONE of the people in my class are that crazy either.
Police are going away from a bandit just to stop a riot in front of a gift shop at a soccer game. The article even says the cops had to bring out the tear gas. People died, people were arrested, and some shop workers were most likely to be fierd.
The article states it is bad because people even cry over the games. In my eyes that is way better than getting arrested for a soccer game.Yet it is bad to cry like a baby when they lose.
Please do not fight like dogs over a loss in a football game.I think that it is just not right. PLEASE I think no one needs to be arrested over a game.
